As a Java Engineer at Victory Square Partners, you will use your back-end development skills to build — together with your colleagues — complex web applications for our U.S.-based clients.

You’ll get the chance to work with the latest technologies and dive into new approaches that will boost your coding skills. Learning is, after all, a never-ending process, right?

These are the technologies we are working with on a daily basis:

Back-end: Java, Spring & Spring Boot, Kafka
Front-end: JavaScript
Database: AWS Aurora DB (PostgreSQL), Snowflake
Cloud: AWS: S3, EC2, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB
Infrastructure: Kubernetes (K8s)
Build Tool: Jenkins

This is what we need you to have, nonsense aside:

At least 5 years of experience in web development
Good knowledge of at least one OOP language (preferably Java, with Spring)
Experience with at least one SQL database (preferably PostgreSQL)
Experience with Linux
Experience with a cloud provider (preferably AWS) (this is a plus, not a requirement)
Familiarity with version control systems
English fluency, both spoken and written
A strong desire to learn, while helping others to do so
Great adaptability to change
