We’re proud to announce the appointment of Matt Walnock as Head of AI and Advisory Services at Victory Square Partners — a pivotal step in our mission to help software-driven businesses build stronger technical foundations and integrate AI into the heart of their engineering operations.
Walnock brings decades of hands-on technology leadership to the role, having risen from software engineer to architect to Chief Technology Officer. Most notably, he served as CTO of Parature through its acquisition by Microsoft, before building a distinguished track record as a fractional CTO with high-growth startups and emerging software companies across the Washington, D.C. region — precisely the profile of companies Victory Square serves.
In his new role, Walnock works directly with clients on technical and product strategy, helping organizations think critically about how they structure engineering teams, build development culture, and design an AI-charged SDLC. He is also assembling a network of partners, contractors, and advisors to deepen Victory Square’s capacity to meet clients with flexible, high-caliber technical leadership.
