AI Summer Practice for UVT Students

We’re looking for 10 passionate students from UVT (5 per project) to join our hands-on AI summer practice. You’ll work with mentors to build one of two real-world solutions and boost your CV, all while having fun.

1. Build Your Own Jarvis – Personalized AI Assistant

   Create your own Iron Man-inspired virtual assistant. You’ll build an AI-powered assistant that interacts with users through voice and text, understands personal context, and performs real-time tasks like web searches, summaries, weather updates, and daily recommendations. The assistant will support both English and Romanian, use local language models for privacy, and feature a React-based web interface with Google authentication.
   

2. BrainBuzz – Slack/AI Engagement Bot

   Transform team communication into a fun, knowledge-driven experience! You’ll develop a bot that posts AI-generated quizzes, trivia, and brain teasers on platforms like Slack and Discord. Key features include adaptive intelligence, dynamic leaderboards, personalized AI-generated art rewards, and analytics dashboards.

This is what we need you to have to become a Part.nerd:

• Be part of the INSPIRE JOB program at UVT.

• Have completed at least your second year of college.

• Be familiar with JavaScript and have basic AI knowledge.

• Be passionate about building innovative, user-focused solutions.

What to expect:

• Work in small teams with expert mentors.

• 120 hours of hands-on, portfolio-boosting experience, 6h/day, mostly remote, but we’ll also welcome you to the office for a few days to collaborate face-to-face.

How the application process works:

• Apply by the 13th of June.

• Get invited to an assessment (JavaScript + AI). The test will take place online, on the 16th of June — keep an eye on your e-mail and check your spam ✌️

• Wait for results. We’ll review your answers and invite the most suitable candidates to an interview.

• Meet us in person (online)! If you pass the assessment, we’ll chat and get to know you better.

• Get assigned to one of the projects based on your skills.
